At SKELAR, we believe in empowering our clients and stakeholders by evoking their rights and responsibilities through concise contracts. In order to seamlessly draft, review and execute contracts, we are seeking a highly skilled Contract Lawyer.
The candidate must be hands-on in every stage of the contract lifecycle, from drafting and negotiation to implementation and renewal or termination. Our company firmly believes in operating within the regulations set by the government and the board of directors, so the contract manager in question must be knowledgeable regarding the laws and regulations surrounding each particular contract. By helping both parties meet the contractual obligations and stipulations, the ideal contract manager must look at the contract lifecycle from a holistic point of view, with accuracy, objectivity and integrity.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement a universal KYC and contract management systems to regulate the KYC and contract management workflows in coordination with SKELAR senior legal team
- Put forward proposals for tailoring the KYC and contract management systems for individual SKELAR businesses’ needs
- Carry out KYC of SKELAR’s counterparties
- Fill in existing templates or templates received from SKELAR counterparties, or draft from scratch SKELAR contracts based on group policies and team instructions
- Review SKELAR contracts based on group policies and team instructions
- Drive execution and manage the entire contract legal lifecycle (addendums, additional agreements, renewals, terminations, etc.) as per the dynamic legal regulations, group policies and team instructions
- Legal support of a charitable foundation
- Perform periodic reviews of the contracts in place and provide resolution services whenever a situation arises
- Educate the stakeholders about their rights and responsibilities as per the conditions laid in the contract
- Provide strategic legal advice on regulatory developments, and risk mitigation strategies to stakeholders within SKELAR
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders on the status of the contracts
- Maintain an internal contracts templates database based on SKELAR policies and senior legal team instructions

- Good command of common and continental systems contract law
- Contract drafting skills

- Certification or specialisation in contract law
